Cairn is offered by The Brooklyn App Company ("we," "us," "our"), based in Brooklyn, New York.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy covers your use of cairn.services, including the public pages on this site and any information you send when you request early access by email.

If we later onboard you into the Cairn product under a separate pilot, subscription, or services arrangement, additional product or contractual terms may apply to that relationship.

3. Information we collect

We may collect:

• Standard website and security telemetry from our hosting and delivery providers, such as IP address, browser, request path, referrer, approximate region, and timing data.
• Information you choose to send us, such as your name, work email, company, role, use case, and any details included in an early-access request or other correspondence.
• Information shared with third parties when the site loads external resources, such as Google Fonts.

The Cairn marketing site does not currently run advertising, newsletter tracking, or analytics cookies.

• Operate, secure, and improve the website.
• Review and respond to early-access requests.
• Communicate about Cairn launches, pilots, and product fit.
• Protect against abuse, fraud, or misuse.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

• We do not share your contact details for third-party marketing.
• We do not use ad-tech or cross-site advertising trackers on this site.
• We do not publish your early-access request or private correspondence.

6. How information is shared

We share information only as needed to operate the site and manage communications. Current categories of providers include:

• Cloudflare for site hosting and delivery.
• Google Fonts for web fonts.
• Email providers when you send us a message directly from your mail client.

We may also disclose information if required by law or needed to protect our rights, safety, or systems.

7. Data retention

We retain website logs for as long as reasonably needed for operations, security, and troubleshooting.

We retain early-access emails and related notes for as long as needed to evaluate demand, manage outreach, and support business or legal records. If you want us to delete information you sent us, email support@thebkapp.co.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information we control. No system is perfectly secure, but we take security seriously and limit access to business need.

9. Your rights and choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you have shared with us by emailing support@thebkapp.co.

California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA. If you are outside the United States, please note that information may be processed in the United States.

10. Children’s privacy

Cairn is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
